Jason’s love of fishing is shared by his children as well. When time permits, Jason is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.

Who inspires you?

I am constantly inspired by those who protect our way of life and help enforce our laws. Those men and woman deserve the utmost respect and they inspire me to do more for my community and country.

What was the best concert you ever went to?

Pearl Jam 1999 but Dave Matthews Band in 2002 is a close second.

Where’s your favorite place in the world?

Anywhere on the water, cabin on a lake, house on the beach etc.  I am a kid at heart, I have to say I also enjoy spending time with the kiddos at Disneyworld.

What’s the last book you read?

Behind the Cloud: The Untold Story of How Salesforce.com Went from Idea to Billion-Dollar Company-and Revolutionized an Industry

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about spending time outdoors. Growing up it was hard for my parents to keep me inside. If LBMC would allow outdoor offices, I would be the first to sign up!

What’s your favorite movie?

I am a movie person, so this is not a fair question. I like to associate my favorite movies to memories shared with family and friends. I would say, watching Star Wars (the original trilogy) with my kids for the first time was a great memory and without question my favorite movie genre. For some reason, another movie that stands out is Home Alone. Nothing funnier than watching two idiots fall for Kevin McAllister’s traps, my family and I love that one during the Christmas holidays.

What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

I am part of a software development project that required federal security clearances.  So don’t ask, because I can’t tell you about it, but it’s cool!

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?

I think it would be fun to be a well-known billionaire tech entrepreneur for a day, maybe Mark Cuban. Spend a few million investing in some tech startups before lunch and then take the yacht for a cruise and do some fishing in the afternoon, then clean up and take the jet to San Diego and grab a steak at Jake’s on Del Mar Beach.

What’s the best meal you ever had?

Any meal that my grandmother made with ingredients fresh from her garden in the summertime. You don’t realize it when you are younger but those are meals you never forget.

Which four individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most?

I love American History and innovative individuals. While these people wouldn’t necessarily sit during the same dinner, I would pick Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs, and Walt Disney.
