When Mark isn’t helping clients with their software implementations, he can often be found reading, boating, running or helping his kids with their homework. He is also heavily involved in charity work for Hands on Nashville, an organization whose mission is to meet community needs through volunteerism.

Who inspires you?

My grandfather, great man from Havana, Cuba, took a huge risk and moved his family to the United States due to the economic unrest caused by Fidel Castro’s communist takeover.

What’s the last book you read?

The Cuban Affair, by Nelson DeMile. This book is about a veteran who served in Afghanistan. Cuban-Americans hire him to covertly land in Cuba and retrieve a cache of documents and funds. It’s a really great read.

My friend Jane, my kids, and Ronald Reagan.
