Microsoft Requiring MFA for Azure Portal Admins

LBMC Technology Solutions
MFA

Starting in October, Office/Azure administrators who manage backend resources will be required to use MFA for accessing the management portals. Regular Office 365 users of Office 365 for day-to-day activities will not be affected by this new requirement.

MFA helps protect against cyberattacks by making it harder for unauthorized users to access your accounts. Microsoft reports that MFA can prevent over 99.2% of account compromise attacks. We strongly recommend implementing it for all Office 365 accounts.

If you need any assistance setting up MFA for your accounts, or want to look at acquiring and implementing MFA please reach out to LBMC Technology Solutions. You can use our website, or reach out to our email, info@lbmctech.com.
